News Release

Elmer Williams, owner of Adventures in Creative Living, announced today the release of a new children’s book that is making great strides in the market place after less than a month of exposure. The book, entitled Cappy, is a collection of three stories about a slightly deformed little boy, who gets involved in helping others less fortunate than he, created and written by local author, Susan Holzheimer. Susan, a former Walmart employee, is presently employed at Clinton-Memorial Hospital and lives in the Clinton-Massie school district with her husband and four children. Over the years, Susan has compiled a number of stories she made up and told to her children as well as other groups of children, most of which deal with the hardships and strengths of  the under-privileged, handicapped and disadvantaged. Lovable little Cappy, who is sure to capture the hearts and minds of young readers everywhere, has, as the little voice in his conscience, an imaginable pet kangaroo, who will be introduced in succeeding stories later this year. The first book in the series, written by Susan and edited and published by Elmer Williams, under the Name, Adventures in Creative Living,  is illustrated in full color with a unique and refreshing style by a talented English artist, Jill Taylor, of  Shropshire, United Kingdom. While negotiations, for National and International distribution, are in still in the process, the books can be purchased or ordered from your local bookstore, or, when all else fails, by contacting the publisher ateauthor@hotmail.com.
